Upgraders put talics into your weapon with a 100% success rate. You can get them from celebration Luck Boxes or Keen/Favor boxes you can find at the item mall. It is one of the easiest ways to upgrade any weapon or armor.
Some upgraders from these boxes will put up to seven talics into your item. Other upgraders will only put in two or three. The upgrader you get from these boxes are entirely from chance, so having more boxes will allow you to get the best ones.
You can see the numbers on the upper right. These numbers represent the Minimum as well as the Maximum number of Talics that will be added into the item.
If you want to use these items then there are a couple of things you need to know.
- The weapon/armor you are upgrading must have the same number of slots as the MAXIMUM number on the upgrader. It wont work otherwise.
- The Item must also not have any Talics already added.
- Upgraders will come in two colors RED ones may be used several times before Upgrading succeeds. Black ones are GUARANTEED Upgrades.
- Failing to upgrade means there is a chance the Item will break, but you will not lose the upgrader.
- You cannot trade upgraders.
There are two kinds of Upgraders:
Keen Upgraders : For Weapon upgrades. They come in four types depending on Item grades
Type C (Orange) – Upgrades Type C Weapon

Playing a game in 2019, you expect it to have top of the line graphic, smooth 4K character rendering, high-quality visual sound, interactive menus and the like. Ion Fury takes a trip down memory lane in a way that is surprising as much as it is entertaining. Playing the game feels like having a trip into the 90s with a difficulty level that will make the most proficient gamer feel challenged. The game was highly entertaining due to its storyline and gameplay transitions.
The protagonist is Shelly Harrison and the game was originally planned to be called Iron Maiden however, legal action from the band caused it to be named Ion Fury instead. Even though there is no similarity between the band’s name and the game, the game is named before the protagonist.
Ion Fury is an FPS shooter that brings back memories from the original DOOM era. The game has a lot of 2D model animation objects and the sounds very similar to games from the ’90s. The prime reason behind that similarity is that the Ion Fury is actually building using a gaming engine called Build. The same engine was used for a number of the retro games from the past. One of the best elements of the game is its originality. It does not merely feel like a game that pays homage to the golden era of gaming but truly feels like an original with authenticity.
It was truly mind-blowing for us to play a game of this nature and it truly felt like a blast from the past. We found the game notoriously difficult to play. Maybe it was the years of coddled up gaming experience from playing modern shooters that effectively have smoother mechanisms, health recovery and all sorts of healing mechanisms. Ion Fury has none of these. There is no tips, no health recovery, and no cover-up options. The only assist you can get is turning on the autosaves to allow you to reload the game.
However, despite the graphic limitations and difficulty, the game does not become boring at any point. The weapon options are dynamic and almost all weapons feature alternative fire modes. We personally loved the revolvers and their ability to target multiple people. Each weapon is essential to the gameplay and ammo needs to be used conservatively as it is scarce. Accuracy is also extremely important in the game as the game has consequences for lapse shooting.
The final enemy of the game was too much for us to handle at high-difficulty and we had to turn down the difficulty a notch in order to get to see the ending credits. The ending battle throws enemies of all sorts at you while you’re dangling from a rope. The ending battle summarizes the game; a quirky, fun retro game that does not make things easy for you at any point.

Starting Age of Wonders: Planetfall, I had no idea what I was getting into. The description seemed captivating so I thought id give it a shot. I had no idea about the crazy rides I was getting myself into. The game is a spin-off addition in the Age of Wonders series. The game is a combination of everything Sci-Fi, mixing the craziest factors to randomly generated planets mixing them with crazy interesting characters that make the game a must-play the game. From flesh-eating factions to crazy jellyfishes, the game has it all.
The game follows the fast-paced, dynamic style of the previous installments in the series. The Age of Wonders: Planetfall is easily adaptable even for beginners like myself like I found out during the gameplay. The game is familiar to players with experience with the Civilizations series. The game follows the standard steps while initially forwarding the game. Creation of cities after arriving on the planet. Players explore new technologies and explore surrounding areas. Military creation is also a major part of the series. The goal of the game is the elimination of the opponents. The achievement can also be achieved by getting to a world-changing achievement.
The Age of Wonders: Planetfall has a lot of aspects in common with the Classic Series; Heroes of Might and Magic. There are a lot of elements that are common with the Civilizations series as well. The highlighting achievement of the game is the characters that are full of individual personality traits that add massively to the gaming experience. A combination of different skills and resources are mandatory in order to be successful. It takes some time to get used to the different factions and skills. Playstyles can also make a major impact while playing the game. Building alliances is also extremely important during the course of the game and it can add massively to the available advantages. The gain includes Penguins, which makes it a typical Age of Wonders game.
The multi-threaded aspect of the story makes the narrative extremely compelling. Amongst the new additions are the Vanguards who are hybrid human factions. There are also the Dvar. Dvar’s stand out due to their tendency to use explosives and mining. The midgame units can tunnel, which can be an extremely handy skill to add to the mix.
One of the minor shortcomings that I observed during the course of my gameplay was the difficulty in accessing the information available which was an extremely important aspect of the gameplay. Due to the lack of available information, the knowledge of which factions to choose was confusing which led to some awkward moments.
However, despite all the minor flaws of the game, the experience was generally amazing and the landscape and the combination of the different factions and their available skills felt like an amazing mixture which made the experience extremely fun. The Age of Wonders: Planetfall is highly recommended purely due to its visual possibilities which make the experience extremely exciting.
